This is the first special limited edition, first printing hardcover copy of "Stating Solvent: A Comprehensive Guide to Equal Credit for Women" by Emily Card, published by Holt, Rinehart & Winston in 1985. This edition was exclusively distributed to supporters of Ms. Magazine. This hard-to-find finance and economics book features a dust jacket now protected in a new, removable archival sleeve. However, the jacket shows some rubbing and scuffing on the faces, as well as shelf wear around the edges. There is liquid damage to the bottom of the book, causing staining to the interior side of the dust jacket near the spine and staining and waviness to the text block. The boards are mildly affected and have bumped corners. Despite these issues, the binding is firm and the spine remains straight. For detailed condition, refer to the provided photos.
