TIPS & TRICKS- Before using your Weasel® Nut Gatherer, quickly clear the area of large sticks, stones, or other debris that might obstruct the tool or obstruct its efficient use.- Use a smooth, steady rolling motion when using the Weasel® Nut Gatherer; this technique ensures that items are picked up efficiently. Be mindful of the pressure you apply to the handle, as excessive force can damage the cage or the handle.- Make sure to measure the items you are picking up and use the correctly-sized cage. Otherwise it will either be difficult to pick up the items (if they are too big) or it will be difficult to keep them gathered in the cage (if they are too small). Garden Weasel offers three different cage sizes to accommodate a wide variety of nuts, seeds, fruit, balls, etc.- Try to use the Weasel® Nut Gatherer in dry conditions. Wet nuts and debris can stick to the tool, making it less effective and the cage harder to empty. Dry conditions also mean the nuts are less likely to be buried in mud or obscured by wet leaves.- Empty your Weasel® Nut Gatherer frequently for best performance. When the cage is full you will know because the tool will not pick up new nuts effectively.
